We dug out some old photographic material, several of which predate Beyond Words altogether, and have great embarrassment value... Never mind, these things have to be done! If we can find some more old stuff, we'll include it as well. This page will need to be scrolled to see all of the images. They have been produced in small files as much as possible, the average size being about 120KB or less, hopefully without destroying the quality altogether: enjoy!

A 1989 picture of Bimal
This photo was taken of Bimal in 1989 whilst he was a member of the band "Torch", who have long since ceased to exist, except as a memory of those who saw the band and were touched by their quality of music. In case anyone out there is wondering, yeah, buddy - that's his own hair! ;-)
Another old picture of Bimal whilst with "Torch", this time on their first visit to Germany: he had driven all the way from England that day, hence the slightly drawn look! He was never too tired to play guitar though!!
Why should Bimal be the only one to be embarrassed by an oldie? We found an old photo of Kay with her previous band, "Change Of Heart" - this picture was taken around 1991 (we think!) - see if you can guess which one is Kay?! In case you'd like a better view, click on the image to see a larger version in a new window, and the answer is slightly hidden in the larger image!
This is an even older picture of "Change Of Heart", probably taken around 1988 (we think!?) - the quality is poor because this is a scan of a photocopied leaflet, but I think we can spot Kay! Those were the days, eh!
Kay singing at Linsey and Craig's wedding

This is a more up to date photo of Kay, and was taken at Linsey and Craig's wedding reception, on the 5th July 2003, hence the more formal clothes!

Hello to Linsey and Craig! :-)

Here are a couple of pictures taken at our gig in the Three Tuns in Sutton Coldfield, one of the oldest public houses in the Birmingham area. These pictures were taken in 2003 by our sound engineer, Gill, who is also Bimal's wife!
We'd also like to say a big "Thank you!" to the folks at the Three Tuns for giving us a great welcome. Just in case you couldn't tell, left to right, it's Bimal, Kay, and John.
