This page shows the photos taken during our 2009 gigs, together with the text written at the time: as such, it represents a complete visual record of what was happening with the band during the whole of 2009. The gigs are listed with the most recent first, then going back through the year, so you might need to scroll the page to find what you are looking for. On the other hand, if you have arrived at this page from the Gig Archive page for 2009, you will be linked directly to the set of photos that you want to see! Enjoy!

We rounded off our most successful year ever on Boxing Day 26th December, playing our second gig of the year for our friends at Ball Green Working Men's Club in Stoke-on-Trent. As always, we received an enthusiastic welcome, and our songs were well received, with a fair amount of dancing taking place, right from the first set. We'll see you again in 2010, and wish you all a Happy New Year!

We returned to one of our old haunts, the Hill & Cakemore ExServicemen's Club on Saturday 19th December - we've been performing there since the very first incarnation of the band, when Bimal was our sound engineer and wasn't playing guitar for us! Things have moved on a lot since those days, and clearly the punters were really having a great time, despite cold temperatures outside and the spectacular snow flurries! Enjoy the pictures, and we'll see you again next year!

We returned to Cradley Labour Club on a very cold night, on Saturday 12th December, and we were delighted by the warm response we received from the generous punters who had come out to support us! Everyone enjoyed the show, as demonstrated by the calls for more at the end, which we happily obliged - and we'll look forward to seeing you all again in 2010!

We played our second gig for Kinver Constitutional Club on Saturday 21st November, and despite the fact that Kay was still recovering after having wisdom teeth out the week before, we pulled out all of the stops, as usual. The crowds responded marvellously and with loads of enthusiasm and slick dancing! We're looking forward to seeing you all again in 2010!

We returned to Charlemont Bowling Club on Saturday 7th November for our second gig of 2009; Taff gave us a great welcome as always, and we had modified our sets - everyone seemed to have a great time, and we were delighted with the enthusiastic reception we received!

We played our return gig to one of our regular haunts, at Brierley Hill Labour Club, on Saturday 31st October - Halloween Night - so we decided to do one or two things in a slightly more scary way! Thanks for the brilliant reception we received, and the new bookings for 2010.

We played our debut gig at Coseley Working Men's Club in association with Nathan Entertainments on Saturday 24th October, and were delighted with the excellent reception we received. The dance floor was kept busy from the second set onwards, and the appreciative crowd yelled for more at all the right times! Many thanks, and we'll hope to see you all again in 2010.

We returned to one of our regular haunts at Leek Working Men's Conservative Club on Saturday 3rd October, and had a whale of a time, as usual! Enjoy Gill's selection of photos, and we'll see you all again next year in March!

Our debut at Netherton Liberal Club was on Saturday 26th September, and we received an excellent reception! In addition to being our first gig for the club (but not our last, we are assurred!), it was also the first gig for John's awesome new pedal, and Kay's first gig with a new glittery number in the third set of the show! Check out the photos below!

We'll see you all again next year!

We were invited to help Martyn celebrate his 21st Birthday at the Royal British Legion Club in Kingswinford on Friday 31st July - and everything seemed to go swimmingly well!
