Our final gig of the year was played at Weston Coyney Private Social Club in association with Diamond Entertainments on New Year's Eve - suffice it to say, the event was sold out and the club was packed to its maximum capacity - we played our hearts out and everyone seemed to hav a brilliant time. As always, John organised seeing in the New Year in his inimitable style, and then we finished off our third and final set, to be greeted with plenty of yells for more! Many many thanks for the wonderful welcome and response, Happy New Year to you all, and we'll see you again in August!

We played our debut gig at Boney Hay Working Men's Club in association with Diamond Entertainments on Saturday 29th December, and were greeted by a lovely friendly and welcoming club! Their spacious dance floor was busy all night and the yells for "More!" at the end continued despite having played everything we had with us! Many thanks for that marvellous welcome and a Happy New Year to you all! We'll look forward to seeing you all again in the not-too-distant future!

We had been asked to perform for the WHDA Camping & Caravanning Club who were enjoying the run-up to New Year's Day at Yew Tree Farm - we were the first act of a series of evening events, playing on Thursday 27th December. The huge marquee looked amazing as well as being lovely and warm! Everyone seemed to enjoy our two sets, and the dance floor was busy the whole time - we also played a succession of encores as we did last night, and were delighted by the warm welcome once again! We have been asked to play again next year, which we are delighted to do! Happy New Year to you all!

We performed on Boxing Evening for the Midlands Central Camping & Caravanning Club who have been enjoying the festive season at Cookhill Village Hall. Everyone was warm and friendly, as was the village hall, and as soon as we unleashed the dance numbers, the dance floor filled up in no time and stayed that way! We also received many yells for more, even after we had already played 3 encores! Many thanks for the wonderful welcome and Happy New Year to you all!

We entertained the punters at Kinver Constitutional Club on Saturday 22nd December and were greeted by a receptive and enthusiastic crowd! The choice of material seemed to hit just the right spots, and there was plenty of dancing as well! Many thanks to you all for a brilliant welcome, and we'll look forward to seeing you again next year when we perform for you on Father's Day!

We performed for the staff of Lea Hall Social Club for their Christmas party on Wednesday 19th December, and everyone had a great time. The dance floor gradually filled up, and by the second slot, it was packed. Many thanks for the wonderful reception and the lovely generous compliments! Have a lovely Christmas everyone, and we'll hope to see you again in the not-too-distant future.

We returned to one of our regular haunts, Leek Conservative Working Men's Club, on Saturday 15th December, where we were once again greeted by the warm and friendly punters and of course Barry, the Ents Sec. The choice of music seemed to suit everyone right down to the ground, and the dance floor was busy all night. Many thanks to you all for your warm welcome and continued support - we'll look forward to seeing you again in the not-too-distant future.

We were invited by Adrian and Dianne Head to provide the entertainment for the Heron Club Christmas Party on Saturday 8th December, which we were only too happy to do, performing at Wollaston Community Centre. Everyone seemed to have a wonderful time, and we were happy to bring out the Christmas songs for the first time this year! Many thanks for the wonderful response from everyone, and Merry Christmas to you all!

We played our first ever gig at Attleborough Liberal Club on Tuesday 4th December, when awards were presented and everyone enjoyed a sumptuous Christmas meal. We played a couple of spots and the response was excellent and the dance floor saw plenty of action. Many thanks for the warm welcome (especially on such a very cold night!) and we'll look forward to seeing you again in the not-too-distant future!

We played our first ever gig at Austin Sports & Social Club on Saturday 1st December, where we shared the bill with the Mackenzie Duo, playing in a lavish concert room. The punters clearly enjoyed themselves, and the dance floor saw plenty of action throughout the night, followed by cries for "More!" which we happily obliged. Many thanks to John and the audience for a wonderful welcome and we'll look forward to seeing you all again next year at the end of November!

We returned to Pensnett Social Welfare Centre for our second visit of the year on Sunday 25th November, and were once again greeted by a warm and generous audience. We played new songs, and revised sets, which kept everything fresh and new. Many thanks for the wonderful reception, as always, and for the encore requests! We'll look forward to seeing you all next year in April!

We returned to Netherton Sports & Social Club (formerly Netherton Liberal Club) on Saturday 24th November, for the first time since our epic New Year's Eve 2011 show, and were greeted by an enthusiastic audience, ready to participate in banter, as well as filling the dance floor when the need arose! Many thanks once again for the warm welcome, and for the continued support from Malcolm and Irene. We have taken on board the song requests, and will do our best to get them in place for when we return in June 2013. Thanks again for an excellent evening despite the torrential rain!

We enjoyed performing for the teams involved in the skittles presentations at South Redditch Sports & Social Club on Friday 23rd November, as we did last year: the response to our performances was wonderful - the dance floor was packd for virtually the whole evening, and we all had a brilliant time along with all of the punters! Congratulations to all of the winners, thanks to Gary (hope I've got the name correct!) for another excellent quiz, and we'll see you all again next year for more of the same!

We played our first ever gig at Allens Sports Bar & Social Club on Sunday 11th November and were greeted by an enthusiastic audience who seemed to enjoy the music we were playing. The second half saw action on the dance floor (from John as well as the punters!) and everyone seemed to have a great time - we certainly did! Thank you all for the warm welcome and we'll look forward to seeing you again next year!

We returned to the Hill & Cakemore ExServicemen's Club on Saturday 10th November for our second visit of the year and were greeted by the usual enthusiastic audience. Once again, the material seemed to hit the right spots, and in the second half there was plenty of dancing throughout the club - people were even dancing down the back of the room! Thanks for the lovely welcome as always and we'll see you in May next year!

We returned to one of our regular venues on Saturday 3rd November when we performed at Rugeley Progressive Working Men's Club, in association with Diamond Entertainments. Thanks to John's genius for constructing the sets, we had a great time, with plenty of dancing throughout our slots, and then plenty of rock classics in the second half! Thanks to everyone and well done to Brad who shared the bill with us - hope Jim enjoys a speedy and full recovery!

We played our debut gig at The Royal Oak (part of the Ember Inns chain) in Halesowen on Saturday 27th October in association with Darin Day Music and were greeted by a pretty packed venue, with everyone up for a great time. The material we played seemed to go down really well, and in the second spot people started dancing, followed by plenty of yells for more, which we happily provided! Many thanks to the wonderful welcome from everyone and for the lovely comments we received from punters and staff alike. Hopefully we'll see you again in the future!

We took part in the annual Midlands Counties Entertainment Secretaries Council Club Award Show on Thursday 25th October, this year taking place at Coseley Working Men's Club, where we once again shared the bill with 5 worthy winners, and we collected the award for Best Trio 2012, the third year running that we have won this category! We were delighted to win once again, and were able to rock the club, which everyone seemed to enjoy! Our congratulations to all of the other winners, and who knows what will happen in 2013!

We returned to one of our old haunts on Saturday 20th October, when we played at Rowley & Blackheath Labour Club. We always get a great response from everyone there, and tonight was no exception - we unleashed a few new songs as well, and these went down a treat, and the dance floor saw plenty of action as usual. Many thanks to Keith, Dean and all of the great folks at the club - we'll see you again next year!

We were very honoured to have been asked to take part in a benefit concert for singing star Johanna Rose on Thursday 18th October at St Mary's Community & Social Club, along with a host of other artists, led and co-ordinated by our friend Phil Aaron. Everyone had a great evening, plus we were showing our support for Johanna, who seemed to be touched by the support. Many thanks to everyone who came along and supported the night in any way, and especially to Phil for organising everything so well. All our very best wishes, Johanna!

We had the honour and pleasure of entertaining Martin and his guests at his special birthday party on Saturday 13th October at the Dudley Golf Club - everyone seemed to have a great time, with John working his usual magic as compere and playing tracks in between the band sets. We had a whale of a time, and most importantly Martin did too! Many thanks to Martin, his family and friends!

We returned to Spring Meadow Social Club on Saturday 6th October and were greeted a very enthusiastic audience, who seemed to enjoy the diverse range of songs that we performed - the dance floor was very busy during the second set, and the yells for "More!" were answered with pleasure! Many thanks to Dave and the punters at the club, and we'll look forward to seeing you all again next March!

We staged a one-off unique gig in Anslow Village Hall on Saturday 29th September in order to allow people who wanted to see the band but lived in the East Midlands a chance to see us closer to home. In addition, we held a charity raffle in order to raise funds for the JDRF which was well supported. Many thanks to everyone who came along and supported the event - we were very appreciative of the kind and generous comments made after the gig, and thanks to Bren and Mandy for arranging the use of the excellent village hall!

We returned to Cradley Heath Liberal Club on Saturday 22nd September and were greeted by a very enthusiastic audience who were up for everything we played - they especially seemed to enjoy a lot of the rock tracks, and the Bon Jovi songs went donwn really well! The dance floor was packed throughout the second half and the encores came thick and fast! Many thanks for a great welcome and we'll see you again next year!

We returned to Springfield Social Club for the first time since the JDRF Charity gig on Saturday 15th September and were greeted by a very appreciative audience - they seemed to prefer sitting and listening to what we played, and enjoyed everything. Encores followed and we received many lovely comments about the evening! Many thanks as always to John and the lovely people in the club - we'll see you again next year!

We played at Pattingham Working Mens Club on Friday 14th September as part of their annual fund raising for the West Midlands Air Ambulance and other local charities. The event was sold out and the lively audience enjoyed what we played, followed by loads of encores - even after we'd finished, they kept asking for more, so we did several additional songs we hadn't originally planned! Many thanks for the brilliant reception and warm welcome, and we'll look forward to seeing you again next year!

We returned to Amblecote Royal British Legion Club on Saturday 8th September to join them in their Beach Party event, and despite a few health issues, we kept the dance floor packed, as everyone enjoyed themselves. Many thanks for the wonderful reception from everyone, and well done to the committee who did a fabulous job decorating the room! We'll look forward to seeing you again in the not-too-distant future!

We returned to Redstone Social Club for our second gig of the year on Saturday 1st September and were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd, who started off enjoying the music in their seats - but as the show progressed, the dance floor saw more and more action, until it was packed by the end! Many thanks as always to the club and the punters for a great reception - and we'll look forward to seeing you again next year.

We were delighted to be asked to provide entertainment at Dominique and Joe's Wedding Reception on Friday 31st August - it is always lovely to be asked to participate in such a special event - we thoroughly enjoyed performing for everyone, and they seemed to like the selection of material we played. In addition, John once more carried out the DJ and Host duties to perfection, which also met with all-round approval. Many thanks to everyone, and our very best wishes to Dominique and Joe for a most wonderful life together!

We returned to Cannock Social Working Mens Club on Saturday 25th August, for the first time since the snow of February, and were greeted by a fairly packed house with loads of enthusiastic responses to the songs we played. The dance floor saw plenty of action, and there were shouts for more even after we'd played several encores! Many thanks to Darren and the punters for a great welcome once again, and we'll look forward to seeing you all again in February 2013 - we'll have to see if it decides to snow again or not! ;-)

We returned to Baggeridge Social & Welfare Centre on Saturday 18th August to be greeted by the usual friendly and receptive audience - we unleashed several new songs plus all of the old favourites, and the dance floor saw plenty of action throughout the evening, despite the weather being very hot! Many thanks as always to Marlene and the punters for the wonderful welcome and we'll look forward to seeing you all again next year!

We returmed to The Fiddlers Arms for our second gig of the year on Saturday 11th August, and received a wonderful enthusiastic response, despite people wanting to see how Team GB were fairing in the Olympics! Many thanks for the great welcome, and generous applause, and we'll see you all again next year!

We had a wonderful reception on Sunday 5th August when we payed at Parkes Hall Social Club - the punters clearly enjoyed what we were playing and the dance floor saw plenty of action, especially in our second slot! We returned to the Stockingford AA Pavilion Club for the second of our 2012 gigs on Saturday 4th August, where we were greeted by a fairly packed audience, who all seemed to be enjoying the show we put on. There was plenty of dancing all night, and even after we had finished playing including 4 encores, we were still asked for more - so we played one more! We like to keep our audiences happy! We'll see you again in March next year for a special charity event, and Gill's photos are below! Thanks for a wonderful welcome once again!

We returned to Quarry Bank Labour Club on Sunday 15th July - our first Sunday gig for them - and were once again greeted by an enthusiastic crowd of punters, with the addition of several of our friends who had come along to support us (many thanks to you all!). The choice of material went down really well, and we also had the pleasure of being joined on stage by Stacy "She Will Rock You" Maslin for a combined performance of "Don't Stop Me Now" which obviously went down well! ;-) The second half saw plenty of action on the dance floor plus cries of "More!" - many thanks to you all for the wonderful welcome and we'll look forward to seeing you again soon!

We returned to "The House of Hospitality" - Ashwood Social Club - on Saturday 14th July and were greeted with a wonderfully enthusiastic crowd, who seemed to enjoy the songs - including some new items plus all of the old favourites - and plenty of banter (including John's iPod mishaps!). It all resulted in a wonderful evening of fun and games, and we were delighted with the fantastic welcome from one and all. Our thanks to Adrian for hosting the evening and giving us the best possible build-up! We'll look forward to seeing you all again next year with more fun and new songs!

We made our first return to the Hill & Cakemore ExServicemen's Club since 2010 on Saturday 7th July, and were greeted by a packed and enthusiastic audience. The dance floor saw loads of action in the second set and the choice of material went down really well, as the yells for more demonstrated! Thank you all for the marvellous response, and we'll look forward to seeing you again in November!

We returned to Cradley Labour Club Wilson Hall on Saturday 30th June and were greeted by a packed room, who seemed to enjoy the songs we performed throughout the evening. Dancers joined in for most of the show, and we received enthusiastic cries for more at the end of the night - as always, we were more than happy to oblige! Many thanks to Trevor, Bruce, and the wonderful crowd for the warm welcome as always: it is very much appreciated, and Gill was able to get some excellent shots once again, as you can see below! We took part in a special Charity Concert in aid of the JDRF on Friday 29th June at Springfield Social Club - many thanks to John for the use of his excellent club. Special thanks to Debs, Sue and Mark of Chain Reaction for all of their hard work in making this event extra special. The event was a sell-out with the last tickets being sold on the night. The final total raised is still to be confirmed but we had a total of £900 by the end of the night, with other funds still to be factored in. Many thanks to everyone to helped out in any way - people who donated gifts for the raffle, Steve Guest for being Master of Ceremonies ( and doing a mean Robbie in the opening!) - the list goes on and on! The final combined set played by "Reaction & Beyond" (the combined 6-piece "supergroup"!) was video recorded in its entirety, so we plan to make clips available very soon (once it can be processed and edited), so keep an eye on the video page - there will also be lots of photos eventually, and there'll be a special page for the event! Oh, and as far as the "Battle of the Bands" was concerned, we won by 9 votes! ;-) For now, here are the photos that Gill was able to take during the evening!

We made our first appearance of the year at Weston Coyney Private Social Club on Saturday 23rd June, and were greeted by the enthusiastic crowds that we have come to know over the past several years. The choice of material seemed to go down well once again and everything really took off with the final set when the dance floor was packed and stayed that way. Encores came along and even after we had finished, we still got a request for more, so we rounded the evening off with "Hotel California" which was warmly applauded! Many thanks for the welcome again, and we'll look forward to seeing you all again for New Year's Eve!

We returned to Sedgley Working Men's Club on Saturday 16th June and were greeted by a packed room and punters who seemed to enjoy everything we played! In addition we were fortunate to be able to have Simply Sarah, one of the best newcomers this year, join us on stage for "Don't Stop Believin'" which went down a storm! Many thanks Sarah! The dance floor was packed for most of the evening, especially crowded towards the end, and the yells for encores didn't stop even after we'd played three. Sadly, we needed to pack down to be able to vacate the club on time, but the good news is that we're back again in January 2013, so we'll look forward to seeing you all again then! Thanks for a brilliant welcome!

We played another debut gig on Saturday 9th June when we performed for the first time at Spring Meadow Social Club. We got a great response for the audience and things just kept building up throughout the evening - the dance floor got busier all the time, and by the end of the evening, people were yelling for more, which was great! Many thanks to Dave and the punters for a wonderful warm welcome, and we'll look forward to seeing you all again in October!

We played our first ever gig at Smethwick Labour Club on Saturday 26th May, and were once again delighted with the response for the packed audience in the Concert Room. The dance floor was soon busy and pretty much stayed that way throughout the evening. The diverse mixture of music styles seemed to be very much appreciated, which we were very pleased - everything seemed to be appreciated by sections of the audience, so we had a whale of a time, along with many requests for encores! We'll look forward to seeing you all again in 2013!

We played the band's debut gig at The Hare & Hounds on Friday 25th May, and were delighted with the enthusiastic response from the punters! The choice of material was clearly what they wanted to hear, and we even got to play several encores for everyone. Many thanks for the brilliant welcome, and we'll look forward to seeing you all again at the end of November!

We played our debut gig at Broomhill Albion Working Men's Club on Saturday 19th May - we were impressed by the very large stage and the impressive concert room, and we were delighted by the crowds of punters who came in to see what we would be like. Thankfully, we were able to play the right blends of music for everyone, and the dance floor was soon busy, and stayed that way throughout the evening. We were urged to play more and even after playing several encores, we were still asked for more, so we ended the night with a rock classic, "Smoke On The Water" which sent everyone happily on their way! Thanks for the wonderful reception and we'll look forward to seeing you all again sometime soon!

We played our first gig of 2012 at Redstone Social Club on Saturday 12th May, and were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd of punters who kept the dance floor busy throughout the evening, and also demanded encores. We were, once again, happy to oblige - the choice of material obviously suited everyone, and we were delighted with the response. We will be back in September, so we will look forward to seeing you all again then.

We had the pleasure of playing at Pensnett Social Welfare Centre for the first time this year on Sunday 6th May, and were greeted by a very enthusiastic audience, including some celebrated friends (hello Mark, Debs and co!), who seemed to enjoy everything we played! The dance floor saw plenty of action and the yells for encores can fast and furious at the end of the evening! Thanks once again for a brilliant welcome and we'll look forward to seeing you in November!

We were honoured to have been asked to perform at Dudley Golf Club for their cabaret evening on Saturday 5th May - we received an excellent reception and were delighted with all of the positive comments which we received. The dance floor saw plenty of action throughout the evening, with enthusiastic applause and cries for more. Thank you all for inviting us to the club and we will look forward to seeing you all again in the not-too-distant future!

We played our debut gig at Blackheath Liberal Club on Saturday 28th April - the club was packed and we received a storming welcome from the punters! The choice of music seemed to go down well, and in the second half, the dance floor saw plenty of action. Many thanks for the excellent welcome and the warm reception - we were made to feel right at home, and we'll look forward to seeing you all again next year!

We were also honoured to be asked to play for Hazel and Mick's joint special birthday celebrations at Springfield Social Club on Friday 27th April - John was once again the Master of Ceremonies, and did a brilliant job once again - and it seems that everyone had a wonderful time, especially the guests of honour! We also had a lovely time and were very humbled by the lovely comments we received during the evening! Thank you all for the fantastic reception and our very best wishes to the birthday girl and boy!

We were honoured to be asked to play for Mary's very special birthday celebrations at Smethwick Cricket Club on Friday 20th April - John did an excellent job of comparing the evening, playing plenty of music in between the band sets, and everyone seemed to have an excellent evening. We had a great time entertaining everybody, and we're delighted with the responses to the choice of songs. Thank you all for the fantastic reception and our very best wishes to Mary!

We received a fabulous welcome from the punters at Bromsberrow Village Hall on Saturday 7th April, part of the Easter weekend entertainment organised by Hereford & Worcester DA part of the Camping & Caravan Club. The band itself was affected by several ill health issues, but we managed to put it all behind us and pulled out all of the stops - and the crowd reacted brilliantly, keeping the dance floor packed for the whole of the second slot! Many thanks to you all for a fantastic welcome and we'll see you later in the year!

We returned to Pelsall Social Club for the first time in a couple of years on Saturday 24th March, and were greeted once again with an enthusiastic crowd, who were clearly enjoying the songs that we played. Sadly, Kay's throat was giving her some severe problems, so John and Bimal stepped up to the plate and performed more numbers than were originally planned, but these seemed popular as well, and it seems that everyone had a very enjoyable evening. We'll look forward to seeing you all again in 2013!

We were honoured and delighted to be asked to play at Janet & Pete's Ruby Wedding Anniversary on Saturday 10th March, which took place in the Ramada Hotel in Oldbury. The evening had a 70s theme, so we got involved with a change to our normal stagewear, as you can see below. We had a fantastic time and we think all of Janet & Pete's guests enjoyed themselves too - we know that Janet & Pete did because they told us! Many congratulations to you both!

We returned to Cradley Heath Liberal Club for the first time since our Boxing Day 2011 gig on Saurday 3rd March, and the room was packed. We got a great reception as always, and we also unleashed a few new songs, which seemed to go down really well. Thanks once again for the excellent reception and we'll look forward to seeing you all again in August with yet more new songs!

We played our first gig of the year for Quarry Bank Labour Club on Saturday 25th February, and were once again greeted by a packed and enthusiastic crowd. The material went down well once again - and we were also able to play some requests, as well as perform several encores. Thanks to Trevor and the punters for the wonderful welcome - and we'll see you all again in July!

We played yet another debut gig on Saturday 18th February at the Far Forest Village Hall, where we entertained the attendants at the local camping and caravan club. The response blew us all away - the enthusiasm and the enjoyment was wonderful to be a part of. The choice of songs clearly suited the audience down to the ground! Thank you so much for your amazing reception, and we'll look forward to seeing you again in the future! Also, check out the WMDA photos: we think they're great!

We played another debut gig on Saturday 11th February, this time at The Fiddlers Arms public house. The material was favourably received by the punters, and we managed to get through the whole gig without tripping out the power more than once! Thanks for the welcome and we'll see you again in August!

We played our debut gig at Amblecote Royal British Legion Club on Wednesday 8th February in their special Valentine's celebration - the club was packed, and the punters danced all night long to the excellent disco and ourselves! We were delighted with the fantastic reception to our choice of songs, and the yells for "More!" at the end of our set! Many thanks to you all, and we'll see you all again in September!

We played our first gig of the year for Cannock Social Working Mens Club on Saturday 4th February, despite the heavy snow fall and travelling difficulties! We received a warm welcome - all the more appreciated in view of the cold weather - and the material went down very well, especially the heavier rock tracks. We'll be back in August, and we will play you "Bring Me To Life"! Many thanks for the great welcome!

We returned to Kingswinford Royal British Legion Club on Saturday 28th January for the first time since our gig there in 2009! Never the less, we got a fantastic reception with the dance floor filling up virtually from the very start, and continuing that way through most of the evening! The selection of songs was very well received, and we were inundated by requests for more at the end, which we happily fulfilled! Thank you all for a most enjoyable evening, and we'll hope to see you again in less than three years!

We were delighted and honoured to be chosen to open the 2012 gig season for the Forty Four Club on Saturday 21st January, and we were greeted by a packed club - with standing room only! We played all of the usual favourites, as well as a selection of new material, along with our ever-increasing light and laser show! The combination seemed to tick all of the right boxes and in the second half, the dance floor was packed for virtually the whole time! Many thanks to you all for a fantastic welcome, and the wonderful compliments we received after the show! We'll look forward to seeing you again in the future and Gill's photos convey the beauty of the lights and lasers really well!

We returned to the Jubilee Working Mens Club, in association with Diamond Entertainments, on Saturday 14th January, and were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd of punters, who were clearly enjoying the songs we presented. Unfortunately, John wasn't feeling 100%, but we still managed to get the dance floor busy, and by the end of the night, there were plenty of yells for more - even to the extent of Kay singing a Christmas song! Thanks for the great welcome, and we'll hope to see you all again soon!

Our gigging year started with a bang as we returned to one of our regular haunts, Dudley ExServicemen's Club, on Saturday 7th January. This club has been supporting us over very many years, which is most appreciated, and the welcome we received was once again wonderful, despite Bimal having a few problems with his guitar! The new songs went down a treat, and the old favourites kept the dance floor busy! We'll look forward to seeing you all again in the not-too-distant future!
