We celebrated New Year's Eve at Harris Sports & Social Club, where the evening started low key, and then gradually picked up pace until a fever pitch was reached! Everyone had a brilliant time, as did we, and it was great to see in 2009 with so many enthusiastic folk! We'll look forward to seeing you all again later in the year, and Gill's photos should remind you of what's to come!
We played our third 2008 gig at Church Hill Social Club on Sunday 28th December, and everyone had an excellent time! The atmosphere was warm and enjoyable, despite the cold outside, and new songs went down especially well! We'll see you in 2009 and here are Gill's pics!
We played at Cannock Social WMC on Saturday 27th December in association with Diamond Entertainments. We were very well received, as usual, despite having one or two PA problems. However, the photos turned out well as you can see!
Our Christmas Eve gig at Dudley ExServicemen's Club was very well received - we had a great time as did the crowds who came out to support us on a crisp, cold evening! We'll see you all again next year, but until then, enjoy Gill's photos!
Our second 2008 gig at Rowley & Blackheath Labour Club was on Saturday 13th December, and included a lot of unique hitches, but we battled on, and everyone seemed to have a great evening! We'll be back in January 2009, but until then, Gill's pictures tell the story!
We returned to the Waggon & Horses Family Pub for the third time in 2008 on Saturday 22nd November, and had a whale of a time, as usual. Gill captured some of the magic once again, and we'll be back to see you all again in 2009, starting in March!

Our second 2008 gig at Harrisons Sports & Social Club went down really well, as usual, and Gill took some excellent photos to record the event - check them out below!
We had another thoroughly enjoyable evening at Brierley Hill Labour Club on Saturday 18th October - this club has been one of our regular venues for the past three and a half years! There have certainly been several changes, as the photos show!
We had a brilliant evening at Blackheath Central Methodist Church on Saturday 11th October, supporting their community event. The crowds seemed to really enjoy themselves, and we even had them dancing in the aisles! Gill's photos convey some of the evening!
Our 2008 return to Stechford Social Club on Saturday 27th September went down really well - we all a great time, and we'll see you all again in August 2009 with lots of new goodies! Until then, here are Gill's photos of the gig: enjoy!
Our second gig at Pelsall Social Club on Saturday 13th September went down a storm, like our first one! We're looking forward to seeing you all again next year, and to tide you over, here are Gill's atmospheric pictures!
We returned to Leek Working Men's Conservative Club on Saturday 6th September following our successful debut back in March, and we got another rousing reception from the enthusiastic crowds! We all had a great time and we'll see you all again in 2009: enjoy Gill's pictures!
We returned to Ball Green Working Mens Club in Stoke-on-Trent on Saturday 30th August and had a great time, as did the crowd. As always, Gill captured some shots of the act for posterity!
We played a benefit gig at Catshill Social Club on Friday 15th August at the invitation of George Brookes, and here are a few pics!
We played our second 2008 gig at Charlemont Bowling Club on Sunday 10th August and you can see the event below! We'll be back in 2009 with lots of new songs and exciting new routines.
We played our first ever gig at Beechtree & Wollescote Welfare Club in association with Diamond Entertainments on Saturday 9th August and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves - as did the enthusiastic audience who demanded 5 encores! We'll hopefully see you all again soon!
Our second 2008 gig for Dudley Ex Servicemens Club was on Saturday 2nd August, and it was a gig like no other! Just check out the photos Gill took (below) to see what we mean - yes, that actually is Shrek on stage with us! And we were joined by two gifted guest vocalists as well, to say nothing of the witty banter between various football fans! Just wait until Christmas Eve... We played our second 2008 gig at the Waggon & Horses Family Pub on Saturday 19th July, determined to follow up our success earlier in the year - and we think that the punters would agree that we did! Everyone had a great time, and we unleashed some new songs as well. Now we just have to top this again in November. Thanks as always to Gill for the excellent piccies!
We returned to Cannock Social Working Mens Club on Saturday 12th July, and had a great time as usual. Gill managed to capture some memorable images, despite only having come out of hospital a few hours before the gig! We'll see you all again in December!
We had a great time playing at Bewell Head Working Mens Club on Saturday 28th June, with three sets of great songs to perform to a warm and enthusiastic crowd! Check out some of the magic moments that Gill captured with her trusty camera!
Due to an unexpected cancellation, we were asked to perform at Churchill Social Club on Sunday 1st June - a month after our debut there! We took up the challenge and brought out a selection of songs that we hadn't played before for them, as well as each of us doing individual solo spots, as you can see in Gill's photos below. We'll see you all again in December - unless we get another call! ;-)
We returned to Charlemont Bowling Club for our first 2008 gig on Sunday 25th May. It was actually the first time we have played there in daylight, would you believe! We received a warm welcome from Taff and the punters as always, and even have a photo of Taff and Doc to liven things up in this set of photos! The band was moving so fast sometimes that the camera couldn't keep up, as you can see!

It was a very warm evening when we played at the Hill & Cakemore ExServicemen's Club on Saturday 10th May. It was even hotter in front of our lights, and very bright, hence Bimal's "shades", which provided some light relief! Gill recorded the event for posterity as always!
We played a gig to help with the relaunch of St Mary's Catholic Social Club as Churchill Social Club on Saturday 3rd May. The gig was completely sold out, so we made sure that we pulled out all the stops. In addition, Gill was trying out a new digital camera - the results, as you can see here, were excellent. We played our first gig at Rugeley Progressive Working Mens Club, in association with Diamond Entertainments, on Saturday 26th April, and once again, everyone had a fantastic time - with some of the most enthusiastic dancers we have ever seen! You can even see corners of them in some of Gill's photos here!
Our debut performance for Cannock ExServicemen's Club took place on Saturday 19th April, and everyone concerned had a great evening! Here is a selection of photos, taken as always by Gill, which capture some of the atmosphere in this friendly club.
We played our first gig for the lovely folk at Pelsall Social Club on Saturday 12th April, and were delighted with the enthusiastic response we got from the crowds. Everyone enjoyed themselves, and we're looking forward to our return visit in September. Enjoy Gill's pictures!

We spent Easter Sunday 23rd March entertaining our friends at Cradley Labour Club as well as judging their fun Easter Bonnet Competition! A great time was had by one and all, as you can tell by Gill's excellent photos, as well as savouring the creativity of the Easter Bonnet contestants. We'll hope to see you all again soon!

Our first gig of the 2008 season was our return to Dudley Ex Servicemens Club, who have been very loyal supporters of ours for a great many years (for which we thank you all most sincerely!). We couldn't believe that our last gig here was in 2006. Suffice it to say, there have been a few changes for the better, and we got a fantastic welcome! We'll see you all again in August and here are Gill's pics!
