Beyond Words are a part-time band but with full-time commitment and professionalism: most of the members work in full-time jobs in addition to playing in this group. If you are considering booking the band, please let us know what you would like as early as possible, so that we can consider your requests, and give you a meaningful response. We also will need to know where the gig will take place, what time we can gain access, in order to set up our equipment, and how long you would like us to play for. It is also useful if you can give us an indication of what types of music are likely to be required so that sets can be planned appropriately. Don't forget that you can have a look at our listing of songs performed to give you further ideas! Please note that we will not be playing any Christmas Eve gigs for the foreseeable future, so that Kay and John can enjoy Christmas properly with their son Mathew. Please note that we are taking bookings for what is left of 2013 and also 2014 (if you can't get the date you want in 2013!) The purpose of this page is to provide a clearer idea of when we are available, and when we are not. The band members need time set aside for holidays of course, so these will be additional periods when the band is not available for gigs. However, there is some flexibility, and often if we know enough in advance, we can arrange things to accommodate requests for gigs. The golden rule is to enquire as much in advance as possible - last minute requests are less likely to succeed.
