Quarry Bank Labour Club - Sunday 15th July 2012: report by Trevor Spittle
Kay, John & Bimal entertained us this evening and as you all know what a great trio they are. Lively music and dancers all night – what more could you ask for, so guys & gal – thank you.

Thank you for your continued support, Trevor - we always have a great time at Quarry Bank!

Ashwood Social Club - Saturday 14th July 2012: report by Brian Trevis
I was not in the club to write a comprehensive report on Kay, John and Bimal, but do I have to, because they are terrific and without a shadow of a doubt they are the BEST BAND ON THE CIRCUIT TO DATE.

You're too kind, Brian! Many thanks for your continued support, and very generous compliments!

Cradley Labour Club Wilson Hall - Saturday 30th June 2012: report by Bruce Priest
What can I say about our artists tonight Beyond Words – that’s the name of the act and that’s exactly what they are. At club level they are definitely one of the very best. Hope to see you again in the near future and thanks for a brilliant night.

We know that we always receive a great welcome at your club, Bruce - many thanks once again!

Sedgley Working Men's Club - Saturday 16th June 2012: report by Roger
Tonight Beyond Words provided our entertainment and entertain us they did – this excellent trio gave us a night to remember with a good repertoire of songs to suit members of all ages. Looking forward to their return to Sedgley in January.

Many thanks for the report, Roger - we always have a great night at Sedgley!

Spring Meadow Social Club - Saturday 9th June 2012: report by Dave Quinton
Another first for us and what a night: the dancers were up all night and the mix of music was fantastic, a little different than the norm but nevertheless a great night was had by everyone and the guys will be back with us later this year – a smashing night and nice people too, thank you.

Many thanks, Dave - we're looking forward to our return gig with lots of surprises!

Smethwick Labour Club - Saturday 26th May 2012: report by Dave Burford
This was the night that I had been waiting for since June last year. That was when I booked Beyond Words and I have to say that I was not disappointed and neither were our members. I’d heard and read so much about this trio but had never actually seen them. What a debut they made, such a fantastic night’s entertainment. A totally different style to what we normally have on Saturdays which was much appreciated by the audience. I had so many people saying to me how brilliant they were. My very grateful thanks go to the group for such a terrific night: they are already re-booked.

We had a great time playing in your lovely Concert Room, Dave - many thanks!

Broomhill Albion Working Men's Club - Saturday 19th May 2012: report by Iris Mason
A new act for us tonight, the totally awesome Beyond Words. The vast majority of the members enjoyed their sounds and it made a very nice change to the kind of music that we normally have. I enjoyed them enormously, the dancers adored them and more or less everybody enjoyed themselves. Thanks Kay, John and Bimal for a brilliant first-class night.

It was our pleasure, Iris - many thanks for the wonderful comments!

Stone Manor Hotel – Charity Event - Friday 11th May 2012: report by Brian Trevis of Ashwood Social Club
This evening I arranged a Charity Ball on behalf of Edward’s Trust, Birmingham at the Stone Manor Hotel. The reason I am writing regarding this is because we invited Kay, John and Bimal (Beyond Words) to entertain us and what a superb evening it turned out to be. They were totally outstanding and 93 guests revelled in their programme of entertainment. There are no words in the dictionary to describe their performance, so I will leave it at that. Thanks again for making our evening such a success.

Many thanks for inviting us to take part - we all enjoyed playing for you all, and the venue was wonderful!

Quarry Bank Labour Club - Saturday 25th February 2012: report by Trevor Spittle
Tonight we had Kay and the lads on stage. You all know just how good this trio is so I will not go on, just to say brilliant! Thanks guys - see you soon.

Thanks Trevor, as always!

Kingswinford Royal British Legion Club - Saturday 28th January 2012: report by John Bennett
Beyond Words were our entertainers this evening and although not all our patrons appreciated their talent, what can one say about Kay & Co.? Tonight, in my humble opinion, they really proved themselves to be "Beyond Words" - superb entertainers.

Many thanks for your continued support, John: it is always appreciated!

Netherton Liberal Club - New Year's Eve - Saturday 31st December 2011: report by Malcolm Edwards
Very aptly named, 'Beyond Words' as they are, 'Beyond Belief', 'A Step Beyond'. Wow! What a performance, a full club on New Year’s Eve marvelled at the expertise from this award-winning trio. A mixed repertoire from pop to rock, had their audience swaying, singing along and eventually taking to the dance floor until the early hours. A fantastic New Year’s Eve from a fantastic trio. Many, many thanks to you all.

Your continued unstinting support is so very much appreciated, Malcolm, and we were delighted that everyone at Netherton really enjoyed themselves on such a special evening! We'll see you in 2012 with more of the same!

Cradley Heath Liberal Club - Monday 26th December 2011: report by Steve Guest
As with Christmas Eve, Beyond Words also stormed the club. This award-winning trio proved they were not just a ‘soft rock band’, especially at the end of the night when they performed a snip of a Steps song they are working on! John even played a plastic guitar just for yours truly. Thanks for a brilliant night. I am sure you will soon be polished with the Steps numbers! Like I have said though guys – if you are going to sing Steps songs then you have to sing S Club 7 songs too :-) This would most certainly confirm that you are not just a
‘soft rock band’ :-)

As always, a very generous report, Steve - and the Steps song is now a regular addition to the sets! Dunno about S Club 7 though! ;-)

Cradley Heath Labour Club Wilson Hall - Saturday 17th December 2011: report by Bruce Priest
What can you say about tonight's artists Beyond Words? They certainly are a brilliant trio for every occasion. Tonight was superb club entertainment. Thanks a lot to you all and we will see you again next year.

Thanks for the great review, Bruce - we appreciate it, and we'll look forward to seeing you in 2011!

Quarry Bank Labour Club - Saturday 10th December 2011: report by Trevor Spittle
Beyond Words. Although not in the club myself, feedback from the members is that Kay and the boys gave them a great night,
so thanks Kay and the lads: catch you next time...

Many thanks Trevor - and thanks for your support - plus we'll be adding some songs your members will enjoy!

Midland Counties Shop Window held at Spring Meadow Social Club - Sunday 4th December 2011: reporter - Terry Weaver
The first of our three acts today was the usually brilliant Beyond Words. I say ‘usually brilliant’ because, in my opinion, their performance today was below the high, high standard that I have come to expect from them. The reason for that is very, very apparent. Today, to show their diversity, they chose to abandon that soft rock style that everybody loves, a technique at which they really excel. Instead, as an alternative they chose to perform a programme of - in their own words - ‘cheesy’ songs. As far as I’m concerned - and I’ve considered things Caerphilly - it didn’t work, and I don’t think that they enjoyed doing ‘em either. That’s how it came over to me anyway. Right, now I’ve had my little rant (and enjoyed it), I’ve chosen to ignore their presentation today because it didn’t in any way shape or form represent how wonderfully wonderful they can be. Yes, wonderfully wonderful, absolutely superb, spine tinglingly terrific, they are all of those and much, much more. And that is not just my opinion , it is also the opinion of many, many Ent. Secs. How do I know? Beyond Words, they were voted ‘Top Trio 2011’, that’s how I know. There’s no more needs to be said - except book ’em.

Many thanks for the continued support, Terry - we won't do a Shop Window with the "cheesy" songs again! ;-)

Rowley & Blackheath Labour Club - Saturday 5th November 2011: report by Keith Cresswell
Another superb performance from this top trio with, once again, a new programme of songs. A very entertaining night

Thanks as always for your continued support, and that of the club.

Baggeridge Miners Welfare Club - Saturday 17th Sept 2011: report by Marlene
Here we go again, up to yet, this makes the third Saturday of the month another brilliant one; this trio has got to be one of the best trios around, they have great personality and a really good mixture of song and dance music. It's easy to see how Beyond Words have won the awards. Congratulations to you all; again I can only say if you have not had them at your club yet, get them on your books, you will truly have a great night. I would like to say many thanks to a very talented and versatile trio.

Many thanks once again for the brilliant report, Marlene, and we're delighted that you presented us with our awards! Many thanks, and we'll look forward to playing for you in 2012!

Cradley Heath Liberal Club - Saturday 10th September 2011: report by Steve Guest
Award winning trio Beyond Words once again gave our members a fantastic night of entertainment. This trio get better and better. Kay was sizzling tonight and I could have listened to them until the early hours but unfortunately we have to shut the bar at midnight. :-(

Many thanks for the wonderful report, Steve, and many thanks for your support and faith in the band!

Netherton Liberal Club - Saturday 13th August 2011: report by Malcolm Edwards
Beyond Words What a difference seven days makes!! Another trio, but tonight we were entertained by the top award winning threesome, Kay, John and Bimal. To put this report in a nutshell, "Beyond Words" are perfection in every respect. Many thanks to you all for a "Supererogation" evening, returning New Years Eve.

Many thanks for your glowing report, Malcolm, and your unstinting support for the band over the past 7 years: it is very much appreciated!

Ashwood Social Club - Saturday 16th July 2011: report by Brian T
Beyond Words. When it comes down to pure entertainment, look no further than Kay, John and Bimal, Beyond Words, who entertained us this evening. This trio are absolutely stunning and by far they stand out from the crowd. They must be in my estimations one of the best bands in the business by far. What makes me say that, well it is not rocket science, for instance, John and Bimal are absolutely excellent instrumentalists and they compliment Kay in a way that is indescribable, just pure magic. It all comes down to this young lady who fronts the band, she would grace any venue in the country because her range is unbelievable and when she sings solo she is absolutely tremendous. One track comes to mind, "Bring Me To Life" by Katherine Jenkins, the whole club went silent, you could have heard a pin drop. Our club members were on their feet in an instant all evening as this trio gave us three scintillating sets. Thanks Kay, John and Bimal for a wonderful evening's entertainment.

We are absolutely delighted with the review, Brian - it is very generous, and we really appreciate the support you and the club continue to give us! We'll be back with more surprises in July 2012!

Rowley & Blackheath Labour Club - Saturday 11th June 2011: report by Keith Cresswell
This top trio gave a tremendous performance singing a whole new programme of songs. They are always very visual.

Many thanks for your continued support, Keith, and we'll have lots of new classic rock tracks for you all on Bonfire Night!

Sedgley Working Men's Club - Saturday 4th June 2011: report by Dennis
Tonight we were treated to a fine trio, Beyond Words, who were here at Sedgley for the first time and I am sure it will not be the last, as tonight our entertainment can only be described as brilliant, absolutely Brilliant.

We're delighted that the club enjoyed us so much, Dennis, and we'll look forward to returning as soon as possible! Many thanks!

Dudley ExServicemen's Club - Saturday 7th May 2011: report by Jock Forbes
Beyond Words: We are always glad to welcome back this fantastic trio, I didn't think they could get any better but I was wrong: they were PERFECTION tonight and have said they are going to learn some more new stuff for their next gig. If it's anything like tonight, it will be a brillant night. Thanks guys - see you soon.

Many thanks for that wonderful report, Jock - just wait till you hear the new songs! You won't believe it!

Baggeridge Social & Welfare Centre - Saturday 9th April 2011: report by Marlene
Beyond Words... What a fantastic and brill trio Beyond Words are. This was the first time at our club, everyone in our club tonight just wanted them back as soon as possible, and we did have a full room. Entertainment Secretaries, you must book this trio, as they will do your club justice, they are one of the best bands I have seen in quite a while, our Kay is a little frame and a big voice. I can't thank them enough for the great night they all gave us, see you all soon, many many thanks.

Many thanks for the glowing report, Marlene - we're delighted everyone enjoyed the gig! We're looking forward to returning in September!

Ashwood Social Club - Saturday 9th October 2010: report by Brian T
Beyond Words. To my disappointment I was not in the club Saturday, so it was left to our Entertainments Secretary, Pat 'Cowell' Bradley to inform me about our entertainment this evening. She informed me that Beyond Words were once again totally outstanding, so what could I add, only to refer to my report in the September issue of The Diary (below). The following Saturday, not one, but several club members said to me that the young lady who fronted the trio was one of the best female vocalists to perform at our club. I know that and I am sure it will be seconded at many clubs in the future 'say no more'. I would also like to say congratulations on your Award, which is very well deserved. Thanks for a superb evening's entertainment and I hope to catch up with you next time.

We're once again chuffed by your very generous and kind review, Brian - just wait 'till you see what we have in store for 2011! ;-)

Ashwood Social Club - Saturday 10th July 2010: report by Brian T
Beyond Words. On stage this evening we were privileged to have Kay, John and Bimal performing at our club and what proceeded was absolutely outstanding. As a trio, they blended as good as any group I have seen and their programme of entertainment would have graced any venue. As individuals, each member contributed their part, Bimal on guitar, John vocals and guitar, but where do you put Kay in this equation, she was absolutely superb 'Rock Chick' No. 1. When it comes to awards this year this group easily falls into three categories, Best Trio/Groups, Best Entertainers and Best Female Artist. I do not jest, they were that good. So come on Entertainment Secretaries and do the right thing and give this outstanding trio the acclaim they deserve. On a final note it would be worth the entrance money to any venue to hear Kay perform the Whitney Houston classic 'I will always love you'. Our members were just stunned and I can say here and now I have never seen them just sit and watch a performance. It was like being at a concert they just blew everyone away. Just book Kay, John and Bimal and give yourselves a treat, that's all I can say. Thanks for a superb evening.

Many thanks for an incredible review, Brian: we are delighted that you and the members enjoyed the show so much, and rest assurred we will do our best to top it next time!

Harrisons Sports & Social Club - Saturday 12th June 2010: report by Tony Kulik
A packed club tonight with our normal entertainment proceedings and scheduling having to be delayed a little. The reason being? England were playing in the World Cup. After the disappointment of the football result, it was a good job I’d booked the trio Beyond Words. Kay and the lads always give us a good night and tonight was to be no exception. As expected they eased away that disappointment and our members had a real good night after all. Thanks for the evening, see you later in the year.

Thank you so much for those kind words, Tony - we always enjoy playing at your club, and we'll have some more surprises later in the year!

Parkes Hall Social Club - Sunday 30th May 2010: report by Karen Bourne
Beyond Words. Tonight we had Beyond Words appearing here for the first time. I was away on holiday but the feedback I had back was that they were fabulous and everyone had a great night. Sorry I missed you and thanks for a brilliant night.

Many thanks for the kind words, Karen, and hopefully you'll catch us next time!

Quarry Bank Labour Club - Saturday 29th May 2010: report by Trevor Spittle
Beyond Words. What a trio! They just blew everybody away. Our members did not want them to stop, ("Have you booked 'em for next year, get on the phone and do it!" - I was repeatedly told) so you could say our members like Kay, John and Bimal. Yes, I have re-booked them. Thanks again Kay and the lads.

Thanks for the wonderful review, Trevor - we plan to be even better when we come back! ;-)

Rowley & Blackheath Labour Club - Saturday 1st May 2010: report by Keith Cresswell
Beyond Words. This trio gave us a great start to the bank holiday weekend, with fine guitar sounds and top class vocals. They came along with a new programme of songs. The club was packed and second half, the dance floor was full. Kay, John and Bimal gave us a brilliant night.

Thanks for those very generous words, Keith, and we won't be resting on our laurels - we need to top that next time we're with you!

Brierley Hill Labour Club - Saturday 31st October 2009: report by Melvyn Cooper
Beyond Words. What a brilliant night we had with this trio, who gave a really good performance: it was Halloween and everyone had a great time. Thank you!

Thanks for that, Melvyn, and we'll look forward to seeing you all again in 2010!

Kingswinford Royal British Legion - Friday 31st July 2009: report by John Bennett
Friday 31st was a 21st Birthday to a special person - my son Martyn. He would like to thank Belinda, Alan, Bob, George, Carol, Mavis and Bubbles (also Sally his Mom and daughter Emily - better not miss them out) who helped put on the food and give their spare time up, also the Committee of the Club and to all who turned up and made this special night. At Cradley Labour Club (Shop Window) in July we were entertained by Beyond Words, and we were lucky that they had nothing booked for the 31st July so we booked them for Martyn's 21st. Everyone who turned up to the party really enjoyed this first class group and entertainment, they played music for every age and we were still having great feedback on the Saturday night and people asking for their phone number - it won't be the last time they come to this Club, highly recommended and if you book you won't be disappointed; it also proves to me that Shop Windows do work and you can enjoy and see some great acts.

Many thanks for the very generous comments, John - we were delighted to help give Martyn a 21st to remember, and we'll look forward to seeing everyone again in 2010!

Midland Counties Shop Window held at Cradley Labour Club - Wilson Hall Sunday 5th July 2009: reporter - Terry Weaver
John, Kay and Bimal aka Beyond Words were our first artistes today. I've seen Kay and Co before on other Shop Windows and to be perfectly honest my opinion has always been "they're OK, but I can take 'em or leave 'em." Today my opinion was totally different, I don't know if I've changed or they've changed but today I thought they were absolutely brilliant, today I thought that they really shone. I don't think we could have hoped for a better opening to today's show and I have no hesitation in recommending that you book this terrific trio.

Many thanks for that, Terry - it's been almost 3 years since you last saw us, and in that time we have been working to improve everything we do - so yeah, we've changed! Thanks for the recommendation, and you can rest assurred that we will continue to make improvements!

Church Hill Social Club - Sunday 24th May 2009: report by Peter H
Beyond Words made a welcome return to the club this evening. This was their third visit here, yet they still came up with fresh material. They performed all their songs to the same high standard, just as their appearances before. The total show was superb. The audience enjoyed every minute of it, singing along and dancing all night. The atmosphere was truly amazing. At the end of the evening, the encore turned into three encores. No-one wanted them to stop. Even they wanted to carry on, but, all good things must come to an end, and this was one of them. Many thanks for a top class show.

Thank you so much for a fantastic review, Peter: you've done us proud! We're looking forward to seeing you all again in August!

Brierley Hill Labour Club - Saturday 16th May 2009: report by Jenny
Beyond Words. This brilliant trio have been coming to our club for quite a long time now. They just get better every time. Kay has a fantastic voice and the lads are excellent guitarists. Thanks to you all for a fantastic evening.

Thank you, Jenny, and we're looking forward to seeing you all again on Halloween! Who knows what will happen?!!

Rowley & Blackheath Labour Club - Saturday 2nd May 2009: report by Keith
Beyond Words. Once again, this excellent trio gave us a great night. Kay said she had a bad throat, but no-one noticed, because she was superb. She was well complimented by two fine vocal guitarists. Each time they come here, Kay and the lads produce a top class performance. A full room loved them.

Thank you once again for a great and very complimentary review, Keith - and we'll look forward to seeing you again in 2010!

Rugeley Progressive Working Mens Club - Saturday 28th February 2009: report by Geoff
Beyond Words. After their successful debut last year, we welcomed back this excellent trio. Again, a great night's entertainment was had by all. The young lady singer was superb, especially with her Abba numbers. I loved her version of "Summer of '69". Many thanks to you all.

Many thanks for the wonderful comments - we had a great time entertaining everyone and are looking forward to our return in September!

Rowley & Blackheath Labour Club - Saturday 3rd January 2009: report by Keith
Beyond Words 'kicked off' the year's first 'live' entertainment. What a super trio they are. Kay and the two lads gave us a brilliant night.

Thanks for your support, Keith, as always!

Rowley & Blackheath Labour Club - Saturday 13th December 2008: report by Keith
Beyond Words. What an excellent trio they are. Kay and the lads gave us two fine 'spots' with great vocals and excellent guitar playing. In the second half, they filled the dance floor, performing some super songs. Many thanks for a first class night.

We always enjoy playing at Rowley & Blackheath - it's like our "local club"! Thanks for the kind words, Keith!

Brierley Hill Labour Club - Saturday 18th October 2008: report by Jenny
Beyond Words. Unfortunately, I was not able to see this fantastic trio, due to a wedding I was attending. My friend helped me out and she told me they were absolutely brilliant. It seems everyone enjoyed them. Many thanks to all three of you and thanks Sandra for comparing the show.

Thanks for those kind words, Jenny, and we'll look forward to seeing you in 2009!

Rowley & Blackheath Labour Club - Saturday 21st June 2008: report by Keith
Beyond Words. The club was full with not a spare seat to be had. These two lads and one girl gave us a brilliant night with great guitar playing and top vocals. Many thanks to you all.

Thanks for that, Keith, and we'll see you all again in December!

Church Hill Social Club - Sunday 1st June 2008: report by Peter H
Beyond Words. We should have had Alive and Kicking on stage. However, one of the gents wives had booked a holiday for his birthday, so a change had to be made. Not to let the customers down, who had paid for their tickets, a top act had to be found to replace them. Coming to my rescue was the trio Beyond Words. This trio had only been here a month ago for the opening night of the newly named club. They gave us a great time then and did so again tonight with some fresh material. They performed to the same high standard they did on their first visit. Everyone enjoyed a top rate show once more. Myself and our members cannot wait till December when they will be back again. Many thanks for a wonderful night and thanks for your help.

You're very welcome Peter, and we're looking forward to December as well!

Church Hill Social Club - Saturday 3rd May 2008: report by Peter H
Beyond Words. Tonight was billed as the opening night for Church Hill Social Club and a night to say goodbye to the old name of St. Mary's. What could we do to mark the occasion? A new act was booked. A brilliant trio came to provide the entertainment (yes, a trio did fit on our stage). The trio in question was Beyond Words. Two gents who played guitar and one young lady as the lead singer. She had a great voice and together, they gave the audience the night we had hoped for. It was top rate entertainment all evening. They sang a wide range of songs that were superbly performed. All three members of the band were smartly dressed. You could tell a lot of work had gone in to perfecting this act. I can't wait to 'squeeze' them back on stage. Thanks for a brilliant night.

We really appreciate your very generous comments, Peter, and we enjoyed the evening as well! Thanks!

Rugeley Progressive Working Mens Club - Saturday 26th April 2008: report by Geoff
Beyond Words, a new trio for us, appeared this evening. They consist of two lads and a girl. To be honest, when they first started, I was worried they might be playing the wrong material for our members but, two songs later, the dance floor was full, and that's how they kept it. They were absolutely superb. Many thanks to the three of you.

Many thanks for that, Geoff, and we'll look forward to returning to Rugeley Prog as soon as we can!

Cannock Social Working Mens Club Report - New Year's Eve 2007: report by Jem Lachterop, Diamond Entertainments
After recently attending a meeting with the committee of Cannock Social WM Club, I feel it only fair to share with you a part of the discussion that took place.

There is an old adage that "You can please some of the people some of the time, but you can't please all of the people all of the time." Apparently, this was proved totally incorrect by the performance of Beyond Words at Cannock Social WMC  on New Year's Eve 2007. I was emphatically informed that every single person in the room on December 31st enjoyed a New Year's celebration second to none and all credit for this has been unanimously awarded to Beyond Words. Their performance was impeccable from start to finish and their choice of music thoroughly enjoyed by one and all. The extra effort and input that helped to make this special night so successful was also noted and appreciated.

As an agent, I would like to personally thank Beyond Words for earning me a very large pat on the back from the club for recommending them in the first place. Mostly I only ever get to hear of all the things that go wrong so you can imagine how good it makes me feel to sit there and have heaps of praise thrown at me because everything was exactly right. And let's be honest, it's almost exceptional for a venue to be still so enthusiastic some 6 weeks after the event! I'm looking forward to the other gigs already arranged with Kay, John and Bimal throughout 2008 because every time they perform I am always confident of their success and to top it all, they genuinely are three of the nicest people in the business.

Thank you so much for the excellent feedback, Jem, and thanks for having the faith to give us the bookings in the first place - and we are planning to get even better still!

Brierley Hill Labour Club Entertainment - Saturday 29th September 2007: report by Irene Edwards
Beyond Words. I remember this trio when they first started. 'In a nutshell', I see these three now as simply superb. Although I was unable to attend tonight, the feedback from those who did was of an excellent night, as usual. Catch you next time around and many thanks.

Thanks as always for that, Irene, and we'll look forward to our visits in 2008: our best wishes to you and Malcolm!

Brierley Hill Labour Club Entertainment - Saturday 6th January 2007: report by Irene Edwards
Beyond Words. If you look good, you feel good. If you feel good, you can deliver. Kay, John and Bimal certainly delivered an excellent performance tonight. With a lot of hard won endeavour and commitment, Beyond Words have reached the pinnacle they have strived for over the past few years and, may I add, they deserve to stay there for as long as they desire. A brilliant night from three lovely, caring artistes.

We really appreciate the wonderful support you and Malcolm have given us over the years, Irene, and we are delighted with this very generous review: thank you so much!

Cradley Labour Club Entertainment - Tuesday 19th December 2006: report by Arthur Ray
Tonight was our Senior Citizens party. The entertainment was provided by the trio Beyond Words. They gave everyone a great nights entertainment. Everyone was asking if we could get them back a.s.a.p. Many thanks Kay and the lads for a super show. It was well appreciated.

Many thanks for that, Arthur - we enjoyed entertaining you all, and we'll hope to see you all again soon!

Heath Hayes Constitutional Club Entertainment - Saturday 30th September 2006: report by Trevor and Barbara
It was the first time at the Cons' for a trio called Beyond Words. They are two lads and a girl who play various types of music. They went down very well with everyone. The young lady has an excellent voice and could sing anything. As with last week, the second half saw everyone on the dance floor. Many thanks for a great night.

Many thanks for the great feedback, and we'll hope to see you all again in 2007!

Midland Counties Shop Window Show held at 44 Club Sunday 3rd September 2006: reporter - Terry Weaver
By contrast, our second act - two male/one female trio Beyond Words had plenty of 'get up and go'. I thought that they were a touch too loud at times and maybe their sound could have been a smidgeon sharper, but these are problems that are soon overcome and anyway, in the main, they gave a good account of themselves. All in all, I reckon that Beyond Words are worth a booking or two - oh, go on then, three or four.

Thanks for the constructive report, Terry - we have since dealt with the sound issues!

Brierley Hill Labour Club Entertainment - Saturday 5th August 2006: report by Irene Edwards
'Kicking off' the month was a very popular trio here at the 'Club on the Hill', Beyond Words.  Since booking Kay and the guys a couple of years ago, I must say their performance has come on 'in leaps and bounds'. They are now a fabulous trio who would give any club a 'cracking' night, as they always do for us. Thanks to you all.

Thanks as always for that, Irene, and we'll see you all again in 2007 - with lots of new songs to dance to!

South Staffs Shop Window Show held at Rugely Progressive WMC Sunday 28th May 2006: reporter - Dennis Webley
To open the show came a trio I have seen many times before, Beyond Words (no, that's not a comment - it's the name of this trio) who, I have to say, I really enjoy. What they do, they do really well and, I feel, needs some recognition. Plenty of songs, sung well, and plenty of enthusiasm made for a very enjoyable performance.

Many thanks for the encouraging words, Dennis!

Brierley Hill Labour Club Entertainment - Saturday 4th February 2006: report by Malcolm Edwards
Beyond Words. Two excellent guitarists, also providing backing vocals, 'fronted' by the lovely Kay, the best female lead vocalist I've heard in years, in my opinion. This was the third time this ever improving trio had appeared here at Brierley Hill, where they have become firm favourites. We enjoyed a 'cracking' night, supplied by three lovely, pleasant, willing young people. All in all, they are 'beyond words'. Many thanks to you all.

Many thanks for your continued support, Malcolm, and we're looking forward to our next visit!

Beyond Words. Again, I was not in tonight, due to a prior engagement with the sun in Tenerife. Oh, it's a hard life!! Anyway, the feedback from the members, and there were quite a few in tonight, was that a great night was had and what a superb voice Kay has. The band played music to suit all tastes, so everyone was happy. I had heard this before, but was glad that our members felt the same. Thanks to the three of you and hope to see you again soon.

Many thanks for that, Julie, and we'll look forward to a return visit soon!

Brierley Hill Labour Club Entertainment - Saturday 27th August 2005: report by Malcolm Edwards
New 'kids on the block'. A trio with the best female vocalist I've heard in many a year. Supported by two excellent guitarists, it makes Beyond Words a very 'bookable' act. We had a poor turnout tonight, but it was their loss. They missed an excellent trio who, in my opinion, could have an 'avalanche' of bookings, once seen. They certainly will at Brierley Hill. They are booked for another appearance this year, and two in 2006. Need I say more? Many thanks to you all and good luck.

Many thanks Malcolm, and we appreciate your support!

Beyond Words, a two male/one female trio opened up the second half. I'm sure they do other things - well I know they do, because they did them today - but it seems for me that Beyond Words penchant is for soft rock music. What is soft rock music? It's those 'meaty' songs that everybody knows but nobodies got a clue who sang them. I took a liking to Beyond Words, maybe because theirs is my kind of music, maybe not. Either way they are well worth a booking.

Thanks for that, Terry!

With three acts gone, we were down to our last act of the day. Hailing from Stafford (actually Tividale!), we welcomed a trio called Beyond Words. They consist of two talented male vocal/guitarists, lead by a very talented female vocalist. They, also, gave us a very pleasant half hours entertainment, singing popular songs from all era's. Their last number was sung without backing tapes, thus accentuating the talents of the guitar players. This is a trio that could 'grow' on you. They deserve bookings on today's showing. Good luck kids.

To end the Show, and hailing from Tividale, came a talented trio called Beyond Words. They consist of two male vocal/guitarists and a female lead singer. They made a great start and kept up the standard throughout their allotted time. They are a very good trio and well worth booking. Everyone here enjoyed them. Well done Beyond Words. Best wishes to you all.

Thanks for those, Bill!
